Tattoo UK Main Stage
The main 'Tattoo UK' stage, situated on the ground floor in the hub of all working artist, will host a hive of activity during the course of the weekend. The main activity being the presitgious Tattoo Jam Awards.
This year the main stage is sponsored by Tattoo UK.
At Tattoo UK people undergo various styles of work. From the all-true and bright new-school graffiti styles, right the way back through time into the more traditional old school designs.
A lot of their own flash is available for general walk-in customers, which comprises of things like: Japanese symbols, flowers, hearts, scrolls, along with many different styles of writing from old English to Calligraphy. They have huge variety - and twenty thousand or so designs on display!
All of their designs are regularly re-stocked from around the world, so if they haven't got it they will do their very best to try and locate it for you.
Variety is well produced in this studio!
Alan Dean - proprietor of Tattoo UK studios says "Our artists have merged from separate walks of life. So we all have our own specialist areas, which reflects on what we do. Everyone here - although we enjoy creating everyday tattoo's - have our own favourite fields in which we specialise. These include such things as Tribal, Fantasy, Portraits, Stone Work, Black & Grey, Foot designs, Faeries, and many one-off's etc, the list goes on. Custom work is very much enjoyed; whether it just be an idea in your head to a picture kept safe for years, come and have a chat with us at this years TattooJam, our stand will be opposite the main stage, pay us a visit and let us transform you!"
TattooJam Awards 2010
Every year the calibre of work gets higher and higher, with not only stunning tattoos being skillfully executed, but some of the subject matters being quite simply, genius. The 2008 and 2009 Awards were a close fought contest, and with so many entries in certain categories, the judges had some tough decisions to make.
I am sure this year will not be any different and with the high calibre of artists (and so many of them!), we wait with baited breath as their creative juices get poured onto our judging stage.
We would like to thank last years judges, Brim, Sam and Kaz.
